CampUP in Bijeljina from 26 to 28 November
From 26 to 28 November, the “CampUP” programme will be held in Bijeljina, at the premises of the Sokolski Dom. The programme is implemented by the Science and Technology Park of Republika Srpska in cooperation with the City of Bijeljina and the Section for Local Economic Development and European Integration.
This is an intensive multi-day startup camp intended for young people aged 18 to 35, including final-year secondary school students, university students of all disciplines, as well as young people with business ideas who wish to step into the world of startups by acquiring key knowledge and skills necessary for developing business ideas.
Participants will have the opportunity to create innovative ideas, identify problems, form teams, and familiarise themselves with the key steps in startup development. The camp will also provide an opportunity to attend lectures and interactive workshops that will introduce participants to the basics of creating a successful startup using the “Lean Startup” methodology. The workshops will be led by experts with many years of experience in implementing similar programmes.
By taking part in the programme, participants will connect with entrepreneurs, startup founders, and mentors. These contacts will enable them to gain valuable experience, advice, and support for their personal and professional development. At the end of the programme, participants will have the opportunity to present their startup and learn which skills are crucial for successful pitching and promoting their innovative ideas.
This initiative is highly significant for motivating young people and providing useful information about the opportunities available to them in the world of entrepreneurship. In this way, it fosters an innovative and proactive approach to education.
