Bijeljina Reconfirmed as a Business Friendly City

The City of Bijeljina has once again been reconfirmed as a city with a business friendly environment, within the recertification process according to the fourth edition of the Business Friendly Certification South East Europe (BFC SEE) standard.

Commenting on the renewed success of the City Administration and the City of Bijeljina as a whole, the Mayor’s Advisor, Radoslav Ostojić, emphasised that the high rating awarded to Bijeljina is the result of continuous efforts to create favourable conditions for economic activity.

“The City Administration is doing everything to improve the business environment, which has been recognised by the Accreditation Body. According to the Verification Report, Bijeljina’s score in meeting the criteria amounts to 85.97%,” Ostojić explained, adding that the achieved result represents both recognition and an obligation to maintain these standards in the future.

By decision of the Regional Council, a local self-government unit that meets the required criteria acquires the right to use the title “Business Friendly City” and to display the protected BFC SEE Certification mark, in accordance with the book of standard, for the next three years.

A certificate confirming this achievement will be presented to representatives of the City of Bijeljina in November this year in Banja Luka, during the National BFC SEE Conference.
