​Mayor Ljubiša Petrović assessed the 25th International Economic Forum in Saint Petersburg as very successful, emphasizing that this was an opportunity for Bijeljina to present its potentials.
 
“We were honoured to present our Bijeljina. We attended the Plenary session and made numerous contacts. The most important interlocutors were Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov, director of the Centre for International Cooperation and Russian-Balkan Dialogue Yevgeny Osenkov, Governor of Arkhangelsk Oblast Alexander Vitalyevich, President of the Board of Directors of the company Sintez Dato Shatovich, and many others,” said Petrović.
 
He expressed his belief that in the coming period, cooperation will be achieved on several levels.
 
“I believe that we have presented our Bijeljina and the potentials of our region in the best light, so we expect a more successful cooperation in many areas,” the mayor pointed out.
